O boom de empregos não-verdes

é o título deste artigo do Wall Street Journal, de hoje, onde se aborda a inutilidade, obscenamente dispendiosa, com que os governos pretendem dirigir, antecipando, o curso da Tecnologia e da Economia e, naturalmente, da História, exercitando aquela máxima de que os "homens de estado" tanto reclamam: "a sobreposição da Política aos mercados". Um excerto:
So President Obama was right all along. Domestic energy production really is a path to prosperity and new job creation. His mistake was predicting that those new jobs would be "green," when the real employment boom is taking place in oil and gas.

While Washington has tried to force-feed renewable energy with tens of billions in special subsidies, oil and gas production has boomed thanks to private investment.
