Na senda de Lenin, Stalin e Mao

O Guardian de domingo passado noticiava que a Bolívia se apresta a ser o primeiro país no mundo a conferir à Natureza direitos no mesmo plano dos humanos. Estão previstos onze direitos na Lei da Mãe Natureza, nomeadamente:  o direito à vida e à existência; o direito aos ciclos vitais e processos livres de alterações humanas; o direito à água pura e ao ar limpo; o direito ao equilíbrio; o direito à não poluição; e o direito à não modificação da estrutura celular ou da sua manipulação genética. Acresce ainda o direito da natureza "a não ser afectada por mega-infraestruturas e projectos de desenvolvimento que afectem o equilíbrio dos eco-sistemas e das comunidades locais indígenas.

“Estamos a fazer a história do mundo. A Terra é a mãe de tudo”, disse o Vice-President Alvaro García Linera. “[A Lei] estabelece uma nova relação entre o homem e a natureza, cuja harmonia tem de ser preservada como garantia da sua regeneração”.

Ou seja, como JoNova observa, está em curso o caminho para a servidão e para a miséria (realces meus):

[W]ho can speak for the flora and fauna, since they can’t speak for themselves? Well that’s easy – the Government, of course. And who pays for litigation, since they can’t? Why those who are accused, of course, that’s only fair, right? And how much do they pay? Whatever their representative, the Government, says they should.

So this is, in real world terms, a plan to give the Government the power to compel, restrict and impoverish anyone, anywhere, in the name of beings who have no voice of their own. Violations will be crimes against not just humanity, but against Mother Earth herself.

It would have been much more honest to have simply declared Imperial Rule, with death as the punishment for any dissent. That’s what this is about – Absolute, Unchecked Power.

You see, this actually isn’t “crazy” at all – it’s much more Evil than that. Lenin, Stalin, and Mao are kicking themselves in the grave for not thinking of this.
